Yes, that gum is something...interesting to have in your possession. Like in Priscilla Queen of the Desert, they have that Abba poo in a jar. Your treasure isn't that gross. I saw Ms. Theron on Inside The Actor's Studio talking about that role. If I were as pretty as she, I would have a really hard time letting myself go like that to play that role. I know why she did it, but I personally have so many issues with my body that if I looked that good, I wouldn't want anything to get in the way of perfection. It is admirable that she wants to stretch her range. I agree with you. Leave ugly and hum drum to the professionals. :-) Someone has to do the character parts!
