Interesting observations -- I share your impressions -- the "Brando sought to kill his younger self" idea. Then I was thinking about Leanor -- and how she maintains a positive enthusiasm that seems to keep her "young" at 81. I remember how she was upbeat and "glad to be alive" after her mastectomies 20 or 25 years ago, I think. Most would consider that a "bad thing" but she came out of it with gratitude and joy. She called up after lunch today to tell me how wonderful she thinks Mark is. (I better watch my back; if Morrie dies, she could be all over him! haha�)

I agree with you, in a way. While watching a bio on him my Brawny commented, "Oh, he's a Taurus, like me!" which explained the whole food deal. The women, too. Taurus men are very sensual, enjoy lots of food, lots of ladies. He also had a mother with a drinking problem. Caused a Big mistrust of women, they say. He wasn't good at anything and sort of fell into acting. He stuck with it because he loved the money.
