Hmmm...thought you were on my lj friend's list. Must check about that. Yes, that is my eternal question. What to do when nothing is going on? And good thinking not to give a sh*t about Borders. Time to start that acting OBSESSION!

I like the fact that you have so much time to surf the web, read, and think about stuff. Your entries are always interesting!

It strikes me that so much DOES depend on what we focus on. This dynamic speaker, Michael Dowd, at Fellowship was talking about that -- along with some fanTAStic scientific stuff about the entire history of the Universe (www.thegreatstory.com -- pretty cool) and he was saying we should make it a "game" to pretend that the Universe is conspiring to HELP us -- and see what happens. The implication is that if we look at it that way, it becomes more true. Easier said than done... but a lot of examples of "catastrophes" being agents of positive change during the millenia of Earth History -- death of dinosaurs, all that jazz... INteresting -- and gives us perspective -- and a sort of God-ish concept of "Life" itself being God -- seeing God through evolution -- God evolving into knowing itself... It's tough to explain. Check out the web site.
