As one of those who DOES wonder, on a daily basis, "What's Jim up to NOW...?" I was glad to read this entry, as I was fretting that you might have been lost in an unfortunate railroading accident or some such. Sounds like an ordeal, but also like really being in the thick of this "commercial biz." (I'll tell Sam in NYC to watch for you in the Time Warner Dish Police spot.)

Hey...fun reading as the calls dwindle here at work. Sounds like a bunch of waiting, but some fun moments along the way. I would really have to have willpower at the craft services table! I can just imagine you with that "Alice Cooper" makeup trailing down your face.

i lived in la and just moved to oc. i've seen the "dish" commercial like 25 times. maybe i'm watching too much tv. so, it's airing over here on the left coast...
