Sounds like things are progressing well... Must quibble, however, as your "editor": You mean "credit card" not "credit car" -- and "take a different tack" not "tact" (It's a sailing term for repositioning the sails to change direction; I had to mention that for Sailor Mark's sake.)

Jane, "Editor" or not, if you continue pointing out things of this nature in such a public forum, perhaps YOU should take a different tact. *g*

Okay, now I just feel stupid. Of course you get free movies! What was I thinking? Bummer about the shirts. I would definately get more and maybe - if it's possible - just iron them all there and keep them in your locker? Another thing to consider might be having them laundered. Wayne does that now and it's less money than I thought it would be. Considering how much you spend for a load of laundry, that might work out even for you. And I have the journal. Hope to finish it up this week and pass it on to CT.

What did you do with that "tabletop washer" I sent you awhile back? Sure, it's small -- but it would do a shirt or two, almost free, since you don't pay extra for water and electricity (do you?) Of course, you might have to actually do DISHES in order to access the sink and fill it with water... (Boy, I'm NOT very "Tackful" today, am I?) Sorry -- just wondering if you ever used the thing or if it could be dragged out of the closet in the name of not paying for extra shirts.

#1:Don't criticize Jane...she's my hero. #2. Why can't you get the shirt cleaned and pressed really nice...we have $1.50 cleaners here...and then make sure you wear lots of deodorant and I bet you could get more than one wearing out of it. At the end of your shift just hang it in aforementioned locker ready for next shift. If it doesn't smell then it's good to go. (I'm not putting my name on this message as I'm afraid others will respond "ewwww" to my suggestion.)
