Jim.........fighting for what's due you seems to be part of the game. I'm enclosing parts of an email from a friend in NY who is referring to a national she did voice work on that's proved fairly lucrative, but you still have to.....well, you can read....I've done just a touch of censoring to protect *********'s interests. thanks for the update...a little ka-ching coming to me, anyway, not great on cable, but better than nada, right? speaking of which, have you seen/heard any ******* commercials lately? these folks are trying to rip me off, not paying me for all the times it's aired. i may have to get SAG involved. Pain in the ass. Cause if I complain to sAG, THEY (the ad agency) will prob. not use me for future spots, but it's ridiculous -- they are doing some really nasty maneuvers like hiding the 10-second spot after a ********* commercial and then not paying me for that....so I have to stay on their case...anyhow, i've been dealing with this organization called ************ and usually they are great about it, and the checks come flying in when I call, but this time, they are IGNORING my calls....and I'm so dreading calling SAG but I'm prob. gonna have to if they don't pay up soon.
