Hey Jim, me again. I think you can be more optimistic than this. Believing in the power we have to make changes in how we feel is the biggest part of the battle, and you already know this to be true from the weight watchers experience. 'Mind Over Mood' is really helpful - they use its principles at the hospital here, with brilliant results. I don't usually go round leaving comments like this, but I want to say hang in there kiddo. You're doing brilliantly and good times will come. Best wishes

I liked that "sincerity" bit in the book, too. Only YOU can define the happy feelings -- and "choose" to focus on them. I liked her talking about "savoring" the good feelings -- giving them more time/attention to "brew" in your psyche... That said, I read your facebook stuff and will totally NOT blame you for lack of "positivity" about the broken pipe, cat pee in the bed... Tho' it did make a "funny" story -- the "icing" on the "cake o' woe," so to speak.
