Frank Nelson was a regular cast member of the Jack Benny show and can be found in lots of Benny You Tube clips if you want reference on him. He usually played clerks, floorwalkers and other types Jack would run into. The audience would go nuts as soon as he would turn around and say, "Eeeyessss?" The Christmas shopping episode comes to mind as one he's in.

Sounds like a fun commercial -- AND good for you to "put the good in writing," whether it ultimately goes your way or not. Do you know when your assorted episodes are airing? Those are not shows we normally watch, but, of course, want to see YOU.

The AHS thing is nothing, so you don't have to bother with that one (Besides, I don't remember the name or number of the episode); the Southland episode is in February, I believe the season debut, and that one should be fun.

Hey there! I just saw you on American Horror Story. Reading your blog got me very worried- one doesn't need to be a psychiatrist to diagnose a depression. Questions: How do you support yourself financially? Is there a chance for you to do either a career change or do more acting that you enjoy doing but not just in a professional setting (so only the fun, but not any disappointment to compensate for disappointments on the professional side)? I presume you are doing online dating and its just not working? And yes, I do think if you can afford it at all that you should get a pet. Could you start writing small articles for a payperclick blog? Do volunteering? Go to a meetup group?

For my "day job" I work at Weight Watchers, but it pays like most "service industry" jobs (In other words, badly). And the acting is...well, acting - Nice work when you can get it, but I can't get it often enough. As for your other suggestions - there's some genuine difficulties involved in making some of those things happen, but there's also a fair amount of lethargy and fear that just needs to be "gotten over", cause clearly doing what I've been doing isn't working (In terms of being happy, and feeling satisfied with where my life and career are going). What I haven't looked into in years is the idea of a payperclick blog (I screwed up with one through Google, not realizing you were not supposed to TELL your readers to "click on the links", but Google's not "the only game in town", are they? Anyway, thanks for your interest, and the gentle "kick in the pants" - You've presented a number of options for "shaking things up", and just because I can't do everything means I should just do nothing.
