Hi Jim, Yes, I'm still alive and a loyal Diaryland reader. Congratulations on your SAG membership. Very cool! I went to see "Batman Begins" and am interested in your take on it. (I loved it, FWIW. They finally got it right).

Hi Jim; I just bought an HP all-in-one for our department, and it seems to be working well, and it is in the price range you describe. HP usually has a good warranty, too. Toner is always expensive, but one cartridge should last you a really really long time. Anyhow, I hope this helps. See ya online; Wendy HP LaserJet 3020 All-In-One Description: "HP LaserJet 3020 All-In-One - Prints, Copies, Color Scanning; 15ppm, 240MHz, 7000pg/month duty cycle, 150 sheet input, flatbed, manual duplex, prints from 3x5"" to 8.5x14"" size paper, 32MB memory, PS, parallel, USB-PC/Mac List Price: $359.88

PS: If you're lucky maybe you could find the previous model on a shelf somewhere. I don't have one of these, but imagine it is quite similar, but not as fancy-looking.
