If they ask you to appear buck-naked, do it! It sounds like this could end a lot of your stress/worry and we're all for that.

How about showing UP in a speedo, and informing them that if necessary, you'd be willing to wear a suit?

Saying you would wear the Speedo is a no brainer. I'm not sure about Dick's idea but since I know he's smart, maybe it's got merit. It's nice to hear about Emily's baby.

I understand your reluctance; I would have the same -- modesty not for relative nakedness but for the "body problem areas" and the idea of being ridiculed. But your body is part of "your product" -- and ridicule is part of "entertainment" -- especially in commercials, so... "Call it good!" "Flaunt it!" (Won't it be fun to tell Jay Leno how having more back hair than the next guy in the Speedo launched your movie career?)

Well, the possiblity of wearing a speedo on national TV would be a heckuva incentive to work out. A happy compromise to Dick's suggestion could be to wear a speedo under your audition clothes and if they asked if you would wear a one you could just drop your pants. Good to hear that things are picking up nicely for you!
