I have to take issue with your comment about never having successfully met a challenge. My knowledge of your life is limited to the few occasions we worked together, and what I read here in your blog, but what leapt to mind when I read that "never" comment was you coming in late to bail out my Red Cross fundraiser of Forum. You were understandably nervous about coming in so late during rehearsals to tackle such a meaty role, and if I remember correctly you were concerned too about the vocal range, but you worked your ass off and did a great job, for which I'm eternally grateful. You handled the vocals quite nicely, and brought SO much more to the acting end that I never had to look back on my decision to fire that other guy. Never say never to ME sir!

I'm sure if you were really honest with yourself you'd find no end of other occasions where you've met the challenge. By the way, thanks again for a glorious Milos Gloriosos. Or however you spell it.

How can you say you've never successfully met a challenge? You managed to make it to adulthood without letting your dreams be shattered by all the people who've seemed bent on their destruction. You made it through school and into college on your own with no one to support you. You've established longterm friendships when you've had no real examples of loving relationships in your early life. You are surviving in LA and not giving up. You're living your dream and following your passion, when most of us don't even recognize what that might be. You have every right to be proud.
